El pasado 2 de octubre se incorporó a la plantilla del centro nuestra auxiliar de conversación, Sara Lopes, una joven escocesa que va a formar parte del equipo bilingüe del instituto y cuyo principal objetivo es reforzar el aspecto oral de la lengua inglesa de nuestros/as estudiantes y mostrar elementos de otra cultura para que abran sus mentes a nuevas culturas y acepten las diferencias como un factor enriquecedor del aprendizaje de idiomas.
Last October the 2nd, Sara Lopes became part of our staff as our new Language Assistant. Sara is from Scotland and will be joining our bilingual department. Her main goal is to reinforce our students oral skills and to show them different parts of her culture so that they can open their minds and learn to accept differences as an enriching factor of language learning.
In the picture above she can be seen showing our students photos and giving them information about Scottish food. They didn't like the idea of having haggis for lunch. 😲
We are so happy to have her!
